A criminal law expert, Me Mocanu attended McGill University, where she graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. She then went on to earn her law degree from the University of Sherbrooke (L. L. B).
During her academic years, she has had the opportunity to work at the Quebec Court of Appeal, alongside the judges of the highest court in the province. In addition, she took many opportunities to immerse herself in Montreal’s diverse culture by working at Project Genesis, a community organization offering free-of-charge, confidential help in areas such as housing, welfare, pensions, and family allowances.
After completing her internship at Riendeau Avocats, she officially joined the office and has been part of the team since 2013, practicing exclusively in criminal law.
